Azienda Pietrafitta Soc. Agricola a r.l. extends over 233 hectares consisting mostly of unfarmed land - mainly woodland (155 hectares) and different kinds of old pastures (62 hectares). The hilly, southwest-facing farmed area is about 12 hectares divided into vineyards and olive groves. The soil, very rich in rock fragments, is the product of limestone-marl substrates.
The Pietrafitta farm is at the forefront of producing the highest-quality wine and oil. All products are made according to very specific and rigorous regulations.
All our land falls within the Chianti Classico designation, specifically in the northern area of the Castellina in Chianti municipality, near the border with Greve in Chianti. The altitude of our olive groves and vineyards ranges between 360 and 500 meters. The farm produces olive oil and three wines - Chianti Classico DOCG, Toscana Rosso IGT (GI) and Toscana Bianco IGT.
