The Pietrafitta estate extends over 233 hectares in the heart of the Chianti Classico. Most of the property consists of uncultivated land, with extensive wooded areas and ancient pastures of various types , which help preserve the natural balance of the landscape.
The vineyard area covers approximately 12 hectares and spreads across gentle hills with a south-west exposure, divided between vineyards and olive groves. The soils, rich in skeleton and of calcareous-marl origin, provide an ideal environment for growing both vines and olives.
The estate is located in the northern part of the municipality of Castellina in Chianti, within the Chianti Classico DOCG, near the border with Greve in Chianti, at an altitude ranging from 360 to 500 meters above sea level—conditions that contribute to the quality and identity of its products.
In addition to Chianti Classico, the estate produces three Toscana IGT wines and an extra virgin olive oil.
